Meet your instructors:
Serena Sussex has been an artist for over 30 years. Her work is mainly landscapes, seascapes and nature in oil and mixed media paintings on canvas. She takes inspiration from the world around her, creating works of art that reveal the wonders of nature and the environment. Her work has been showcased in many exhibitions and is held in private collections.
Luoan Liao is an illustrator and graphic designer working between the UK and Taiwan, blending reality and imagination through vivid colours, dynamic compositions, and mixed media. With a background in MA in Sequential Design/Illustration from the University of Brighton, her work transforms everyday scenes into playful yet thought-provoking narratives.
She explores themes of neurodiversity and social interaction, aiming to evoke emotion through accessible storytelling and material experiment. In her workshops, she encourages participants to explore creativity through hands-on experiment, making art an inclusive and joyful experience for everyone.
