The value of art goes beyond its artistic and economic aspects—it also has social impact. While many in the industry focus on artistic or financial value, we believe art’s greatest strength lies in its ability to transcend language, cross borders, and inspire action. We actively support artists whose work aligns with this vision and invite those who share our passion for art as activism to join us.

Our Founder

Vanessa Chang is originally from Taiwan, and she moved to Brighton in 2023 to study International Politics. She's always had a deep passion for art, often finding herself inspired in galleries and creative spaces. It was during a visit to an exhibition on gender-based violence that everything clicked — she saw firsthand how powerful art can be in telling difficult stories and pushing for social change.

That moment sparked the idea for Artivist Haven: a platform that would not only celebrate artists who care about social issues but also give them the support they need to grow. She believes art has the power to challenge, heal, and connect people. She is passionate about helping artists turn that power into real-world impact.
