Explore a fresh and imaginative approach to portraiture in this inspiring art workshop led by artist Joel Chidi Sydenham.
Using beautiful floral reference images from the Kew Gardens collection, you’ll create a unique floral portrait while exploring composition, colour and creative expression. Joel will guide you step by step, making this session welcoming to everyone from beginners to experienced artists.
This workshop is part of 'Wild Imagination' project, and it's supported by Grow Wild, the national outreach programme of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and Rooted Beings.
Introducing Your Facilitator:
Joel Chidi Sydenham is a Visual Artist, Poet and Tutor, he works in various media to create vibrant works that tells viewers a story. His work is inspired by various cultures, the natural world, existential concepts, as well as his own human experience. Joel is always looking for a new cultural lens to see the world through. He has been running Art Workshops for various charities in London and Brighton over the past 10 years. His workshops are designed to bring communities together and make art more accessible.
This workshop is offered on a Pay What You Can basis to keep it accessible to as many people as possible. All ticket options include the same workshop experience. Just choose the price that feels right for you.
